Scripture Focus: Matthew 6:33
Life has a way of fighting for our attention.
Responsibilities pile up. Pressure increases. Schedules fill quickly. And before we realize it, God can slowly move from the center of our lives to the background.
Not removed completely. Just repositioned.
But God was never meant to simply be included in our plans. He was meant to lead them.
In First & Center, we're talking about what it means to stop fitting God into our lives and start building our lives around Him.
Because when God is first, He sets the order. And when God is center, He sustains everything connected to Him.
A Moment in the Word
Jesus tells us in Matthew 6:33 to seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness.
Not eventually. Not after everything else is handled.
First.
Sometimes the problem isn't that we've completely removed God from our lives. It's that we've made Him an addition instead of our foundation.
And when pressure, fear, success, or the approval of others becomes our first priority, those things begin directing our decisions.
But we have an invitation to return to Kingdom order.

Reflection Question
Have I been building my life around God, or asking God to bless a life I've already built without seeking Him first?
Take a moment to pray, reflect, and identify one area where God needs to be restored to the center.
